Contemporary Education Foundation-Pekcan Elementary School, which was built on the land allocated to Muş Special Provincial Administration by Bulanık Municipality through Muş Bulanık District Governorship, started their education in their new warm environment. Continuing its efforts to find solutions to the problems experienced in the field of education since its establishment in 1994 and to ensure that our children receive education in line with the philosophy of the Republic and Atatürk’s principles, the Contemporary Education Foundation continues to contribute to education by growing. We are happy, we are proud… After the 1999 earthquake disaster, Contemporary Education Foundation built ÇEV M.Kutsi Beğdeş Primary School in Erzincan Tercan District in 2006, and the ÇEV – Student Dormitory with 6 units and 96 beds, ÇEV – Education Culture Center was built in Sakarya University. The Primary School, which was built in the Yemişen town of the Bulanık district of Muş, with the contributions of Ms. Leyla Pekcan, Member of the Trustees of the Contemporary Education Foundation, and her husband Tunç Pekcan, was opened on 30 November 2007 and entered the service of our students. The serious and swift approach, information exchange and assistance of the Muş/Bulanık District Governor’s Office enabled the completion of this important school building project in a short time, allowing our children in the needy region to start their education. Local berry stone was used in the construction of the “Contemporary Education Foundation – Pekcan Primary School”, which was built with the support of ÇEV Board of Trustees Ms. Leyla Pekcan and Tunç Pekcan, and it consists of 2 floors and 8 classrooms.
